Why does my plant get more and more yellow? What is it saying? What do I need to do?
First of all, when asking for help with a plant, you need to include especially what kind of plant it is; other things that help with answers are how long you’ve had it, how much water you give it, how much light it has, if it’s had pests, if it’s been fertilized.

Another really helpful thing is to include a picture.

Without any of those things, I can only say that it’s possible that your plant is simply going to sleep for the winter.

If the yellowing is caused by something other than natural life cycle, your plant is probably saying, “Help me, I’m dying.”
Plants’ leaves can yellow when something has interfered with the moisture to the leaves. This can be caused by too little moisture in the soil, or too much, in which case the roots are damaged and can’t transport water. A second common cause would be inadequate light, which is usually accompanied by stretching of the distance between leaf stems. A third common cause is nutrient deficiency caused by mineral-poor soil or by never fertilizing; or nutrient toxicity, caused by too much fertilizer. Finally, insects might cause what appears to be leaf yellowing.

You’re the one who has to investigate all these things to determine what is your plant’s problem, and how to fix it.
